There is a fat girl in the anime I'm watching. And there's no plot point or comedic element centered around it, no one mentions it, it’s just how she looks.
I thought this was a novel idea, not seen much elsewhere.
There are 2 more fat characters in fact, though they're old, which makes it pretty standard. Maybe it says something about the author.

In my quest to understand what it means to be no longer human, metaphorically, I have since absconded from the familiar confines of IRC's /vt/ and pondered about the best place to do a deep-reverse-transfiguration into a being that is no longer human, metaphorically. On my way home the other day, I found a spot that is shrouded in darkness with a small open window that allowed moonlight to pass through. I found two people, a man and a woman, standing close to each other in the center of the spot looking through the small window.I thought to myself this must be a lovely moment for them.

By the way, that beautiful secluded spot reeked of piss. Maybe they both had COVID and couldn't smell the madness amidst the beauty.
